Brooke's love for plants began at age 6 when she planted a handful of watermelon seeds in the middle of her father's pristine front lawn. She spent the entire summer protecting her "garden" from her dad's weedeater and the HOA. The resulting melons sealed the deal and her love for plants was born!
Her love for plants, cute boys in Wranglers and the desire to do the opposite of her older sister who went to OU, led her to Oklahoma State University where she earned a Bachelor's of Landscape Architecture and a minor in Horticulture. She married one of those cute boys in Wranglers and a few years later and Brooke decided that working full-time, having a toddler and baby #2 on the way wasn't nearly enough to do and she ended up at OU anyways in their Urban Design Studio where she graduated with a Master's of Urban Architectural Studies.
In the early years after college, Brooke spent much of her time figuring out what she DIDN'T want to do. Finally, in 2011 she decided that what brought her joy wasn't planning massive commercial retail developments or designing huge master-planned communities; it wasn't even designing parks and pool facilities, all of which she had done. What she loved was working with homeowners and creating the spaces that make home, home.
Brooke now uses her extensive education in design and plant material and her 15 years of design experience to transform her clients yards into beautiful outdoor spaces.
